PT. AST Indonesia was established in July 1996. Commercial production started in October 1996. Factory moved from Kawasan Berikat Lamicitra to Kawasan Berikat Ruktimukti Bawana. PT AST Indonesia is 100% owned by Japanese Companies (Sumitomo Forestry Co., Ltd). Our objective is to manage the lead time and production control with delicate care. By utilizing Japanese Production technology in Indonesia, we aim to produce high quality products with competitive price. Updating new version ISO 9001 : 2015 and ISO 14001 : 2015 (in October 2017), we commit ourselves to provide high quality product with a concept of environmental impact production, due to provide confidence to all our customers and business associates all over the world.

 As we are located at bonded zone, we have so much advantage in purchasing raw materials and spare parts by enjoying facilities of exemption from taxation. Expanding our Production facilities and space, AST build New Factory in same Industrial Zone KIW. Bridging internet system to be provided to support communication, integrated production control system, and other online system activities.
