This Kalimantan wood sawmill business was started from small industry named UD. WijayaPratama which established by Mr. SudarsonoChandrawidjaja in 1993. It located on Jl. Raya Semarang – Purwodadi Km 16,5, Mranggen, Demak, Central Java.

At that period, UD. WijayaPratama was holding business license for running the industry of + 2.000 M3 each year. With simple infrastructure of 3 bandsaw units, UD. WijayaPratama produced sawn timber which is part of building materials such as bean or batten of timber, plank, rafter and lath. The raw materials of processed wood produced by UD. WijayaPratama were made of meranti and mixed forest wood taken from Kalimantan. All wood raw materials had been selected and supplied directly by Mr. Hartono Chandra Widjaja.

Along with the company that having a fast growing, in 1998, the company structure of UD. WijayaPratama changed became PT. CIPTA WIJAYA MANDIRI. The production capacity has been increased by expanding field of business in the industry of sawn timber wood working. The next step was joined share with PT. DayaCiptaKaryaSempurna in 2003 which produced decking to fulfill overseas market.

After 20 years running business in timber, now PT. CiptaWijayaMandiri has grown to be timber industry producing plywood, veneer, decking, and sawn timber with CIPTANA brand.
