Performance Assistant (PA)

• Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering,  Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or any relevant Engineering from reputable University
• Minimum GPA is 3.00 of 4.00
• Having a maximum 2 (two) years working experience in any engineering company will be preferable. Fresh graduated is welcome to apply

• Extensive knowledge in thermodynamic, physic, electrical, chemistry, mathematic, fluid mechanic, heat transfer, fuel combustion etc.
• Understanding about  basic principles of mechanical, electrical concept and process
• Basic MS-Office (MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word and MS-Project),
• Fluently in English is a must
• Willing to work at height
• Willing to be placed in Batang, Central Java

Job Description :

• The Performance Assistance will be responsible to assist all tasks assigned in the performance section and also be responsible to undertake periodic monitoring and test based on stipulated contract and standards
• Support the Performance Engineer to set the condition of data collection (i.e. regimes of operation, level of units loading, checking of measurement instruments calibration certificates, cross checking of collected dates, analyses of possible data errors, supplementary mobile instruments necessary for completeness of dates collection etc.
• To assist monitoring overall plant performance (heat rate) as well as the performance of individual equipment and subsystems (e.g. boilers, turbines, condensers, FW heaters).
• To assist developing thermodynamic models for all related equipment and systems.
• Collecting and inputting coal unloading quality & quantity data into coal system database
• Collecting and inputting coal & ash handling operation data into database
• Downloading load profile data from DCS for the performance monitoring
• Assist periodical testing of main plant (BTG) and plant auxiliaries (e.g. PF sampling, air heater leakage, feed-water heater, etc) and advise operations and maintenance of the findings
• Downloading, collecting & inputting data for plant efficiency monitoring system, fuel oil and coal consumption, water consumption
• Assisting the routine technical report  (monthly, quarterly and annual report)
• Undertake any additional relevant duties and responsibilities within their capability as directed and defined by the superior
