Mechanical Design Engineer

1. Diploma / Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably specialized in Design

1. 2-3 years of hands-on experience designing mechanical components and assemblies.
2. Good knowledge with 2D/3D CAD/ CAM software, preferably SolidWorks
3. Must be able to create parts, multi-component assemblies and dimensioned drawings to company standards
4. Strong ability with geometric and tolerance analysis
5. Understanding of production techniques, including sheet metal fabrication
6. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated success in taking similar products through a complete design cycle
7. Good command of spoken and written English
8. Willing  to work in Lobam, Bintan, Kepulauan Riau

Responsibilities:

1. Develop innovative, cost-effective designs meeting design requirements
2. Detail all design and provide manufacturing with the necessary 2D fabrication drawings and instructions
3. Execute product development in accordance with company New Product Development procedures and processes
4. Carry out performance analysis, cost reduction, prototyping activities
5. Work in a cross functional team to implement designs in manufacturing, and support manufacturing, quality assurance, technical service and product management functions
